Founded on foresight in 1968, Rice Financial was built by industry pioneers who recognized the opportunities created by tax reform and the introduction of RRSPs. Aided and encouraged by deregulation a few years later, the company carved its niche as a formidable alternative to big banking and insurance institutions in Canada.
Over the past 38 years, Rice Financial has grown from a one-person operation in Brandon, Manitoba to become one of Canada's largest independent financial solution providers and the flagship of the Jovian group of companies. A vast network of branch and associate offices stretches from the BC coast to the Ontario/Quebec border, serving more than 85,000 clients and administering assets nearing $4.0 billion.
Throughout its tremendous growth, the company has never lost sight of its roots in the community. At a time when other institutions are abandoning their rural presence in favor of centralization, Rice Financial continues to pursue new growth opportunities in underserved markets, with a focus on Alberta, BC and Ontario.

Following significant reorganization, the company has emerged refocused and ready for further success, with a renewed commitment to our mandate of helping Canadian investors of all levels: |
