CINUP offers employee benefits solutions designed to meet the unique requirements of Canada's First Nations.
| |
Through CINUP's unique umbrella design, First Nations organizations throughout Canada may purchase group benefits (insurance and pension) as a large, collective force rather than individually. As a result, CINUP members have access to insurance services and solutions not available to smaller groups including: |
| |
Chief & council insurance or travel AD&D |
| |
Board of directors life insurance or travel AD&D |
| |
Part-time/seasonal employee coverage |
| |
Constable/EMS coverage |
| |
Student accident coverage |
CINUP works with employers and various government agencies to ensure the best and most cost-effective benefits solutions in accordance with Indian and Northern Affairs guidelines. Coverage is coordinated with services available through the First Nations Inuit Health Branch to avoid benefit duplications and reduce premiums.
CINUP is also one of the few plans in Canada that offers pre-approved applications for federal funding toward employers' contributions, saving time for new groups and ensuring uninterrupted funding for organizations transferring existing pension plans.
